At the beginning of every project we consider your wishes and their feasibility. We analyse your vehicle, take measurements, put it on the scales and select the appropriate components on this basis. Wherever possible, we use Swiss products and suppliers.
As soon as the concept is ready, all components are ordered. Since we want to use the optimal technology for each vehicle, we only keep a few in stock. We bridge the waiting time by removing the engine and transmission and preparing the vehicle for conversion. During this time, we also prepare the boxes for the batteries, of course to measure and in such a way that they fit optimally into the vehicle and as little loading space as possible is lost. Depending on the condition of the vehicle, this is also the optimal time for restoration work.
Once the components arrive, they are installed. We develop a suitable engine mount for each vehicle and its engine. We combine the battery cells into a battery, together with a battery management system. The battery is then install in the vehicle, together with the other electronic components. When arranging the components, we pay attention to the shortest possible distances, on the one hand for reasons of efficiency, and on the other hand to save weight by using shorter cables.
After the conversion, we test everything thoroughly, first on the test bench. As soon as everything fits, the necessary certificates for registration are drawn up. Each vehicle is subjected to a test in accordance with the Ordinance on Low-Voltage Electrical Products (NEV) as well as an electromagnetic compatibility test (EMC). This is followed by registration at the road traffic office and handover to you. After the first 1000 km, the vehicle undergoes another inspection.
We grant a warranty of 2 years or 40'000 km on the conversion and 5 years or 100'000 km on the battery.
